All right, so what have I been up to? Nothing, nothing at all. No sarcasm here. I am really upset about my laptop. About a few years ago, my cooler for the laptop broke. Then, I get virus and all these crap (excuse my language) and now, the light for the screen doesn't work. Do you guys remember the Gameboy Color? The gameboy without light? Well, that's how my laptop is... except it's worse. I can see windows, but it's hard to find where my mouse is. The screen is completely dark and I need to use a freaking flashlight. Yeah, I should have backed my files up and put it in an external hard drive and all that. But because of my laptop holding too much files, it takes a long time to load and my laptop turns off!! So, now, I'm uploading pictures and saving them onto imageshack, I'm sending the files I don't want to lose to my dad's laptop, and I'm copying and pasting the text/documents I dont want to lose onto here, blogspot, except they're saved as drafts. Ugh, so upset. If something happens to this laptop, I will go crazy. I think I'm going to focus on getting a new desktop or a laptop instead of a camera. So anyway, on facebook, Maggie posted the teaser trailer for Dorian Gray. It looks really interesting. The guy that plays the main character is the one that played Prince Caspian in Narnia and he's really cute. Maggie didn't notice until she saw his, what she calls "buttchins," and yeah. I thought he was really good looking and for him to play a role like Dorian Gray (search it up), wow! Just wow. I'm supposed to be studying up for the stupid driving thing (I don't want to drive), but I'm too busy with files and stuff. I find this more important, haha. Honestly, I don't take tests as serious as I should and that's a bad thing. I don't know what's going on with me. All that seems to be in my head is "-------------beeeep----------" In school, I am surrounded by people with GPAs higher than 3.5 or a 4.0, read novels and books about politics or something I find extremely boring, talk about calculus and science in class, or TV shows like House and stuff I don't find interesting, I feel bad--for myself. So I groan and pick up a book and push myself. How can these guys go out and party, have fun, and maintain such great grades? They panic over a B or C (like any other asians would) while I go, "Eh, I can do better," and panic at the last minute. It's people like them who make me want to take AP classes (even though deep down, I don't want to), but I have to thank them.
edit: wow, I spent an hour ranting to Ivy about a few people. Sorry buddy >_< you didn't have to read it. I just needed to rant.

Vegas
Will come back with pictures, lots of em. So went to Vegas... same ol' same ol'. It's nice to get away from LA, though. Before we left, we ate pho in chinatown then went to buy my memory card for camera on the way there. As soon as I got out of the car and went to target (for the memory card), it was soooo hot. Blah blah blah, when we got to vegas, we dropped aunts off at Monte Carlo and then went to eat at thai restaurant in LV's chinatown. After that, we headed to Circus Circus, went to hotel, drop our stuff off, and went off to play. I spent about 20 bucks on DDR. It's a dollar per person and since I was playing double most of the time, it was two bucks per game for me. Some random guy asked me how long I was playing and if the people from the place I "came from" play it a lot. I didnt bother saying "I'm from Cali," since he's probably from somewhere else so I said yeah. And he asked if he could battle. Honestly, I didnt want to so I just told him I have two more games to go and he said "okay," and then waited. Then my parents were standing by the changing machine with my brother talking and then he goes up to them and was like "where are yo uguys from?" and im just going O_____o and was hoping to finish the game before he comes back, cuz he went somewhere else.
After that, I went to play basketball and some other games. Man, I owned in basketball! Shot almost all the baskets in a row (not to mention, they were all swishes ^^). The next day, we went to eat at Casino Cafe (burger in the morning) and then went to pick up aunt from Monte Carlo, drove to see this one house (and apparently I entered the wrong address in the gps). After that, we all got off at Circus Circus and I went to play in the adventuredome (DDR) and after that, went back to the arcade and yeah. For dinner we had the circus buffet. I was playing this one game where there's a beach ball floating in air (because of the wind from the bottom) and what you have to do is use a beanie and hit make the beach ball fall off. It's tricky sometimes because the wind blows the ball in different directions. So my brother and I played that. We won the first one, then the second one. The huge prizes are Rugrats character. I wanted Lil. (I'm Lily, my brother's Phillip and the prize, there were both Lil and Phil) So the woman said we have to win seven small prizes to trade it up for the big one. When we had enough (after spend about 4 bucks or something), we got it. It was funny because my brother won most of it and I decided to get Lil.
Went to eat this thai restaurant in downtown lasvegas today morning and ugh, the food is not good. We've been saving our tickets for.... a while and we have about thirty-forty something thousand? My brother wants to save it so he can get the PS3 -_- which means he has to buy more games for that. Ugh. Anywayyyy, I have a lot to talk about but I'll stop here. Tired.

Insomnia oh oh~

Feels like insomnia ah ah,
No seriously. Feels like insomnia. I cant get any sleep! For the past week, I've been tossing and turning. If it took me an hour to fall asleep, that's normal. But I've been going to bed around 11:50 PM and end up falling asleep around 5 in the morning. Around 12, 1, 2, 3, and 4, I'm still trying to get comfortable and fall asleep. Is it because it's hot? I don't know. But I dont want this to keep happening because its so boring doing nothing for five hours, hahahaha. Yes, lame reason. But yeah. I'm about to leave to Vegas in about two-three hours.
I'll probably do my Fan*Tastic video when I get back. I'm still crossing my fingers to get chosen. If I do, I help pass out flyers after the concert. Not only that, but meet the girls, get pictures, autographs, autographed CDs/tshirt. You see the "I'm So Hot" picture? Their outfits for "So Hot" had like, tiger prints on them. So when I saw that shirt, I immediately thought of them. I wanted to buy it and show it to them (if i get chosen) but that was a super small.
Ugh, it's hot. I dont want to type anymore.
Oh, it's 7/11 today. So I'm not sure if it's all 7-11 but they're giving out free slurpees :)

Summer

So I'm back to blogging. "Back? What do you mean? You stopped?" is what you're wondering, haha. I wasn't planning to blog. But after spending about two hours reading a soompier's blog (her life in korea as an english teacher, teaching middle school students. It looked fun and interesting), I decided to come back and blog. Usually over summer, you'd think a lot of thing will happen and I'd write about them in my blog. Well, I've been sitting in front of the laptop watching movies on my dvd player. How sad is that? And I've been going to the restroom a lot lately. I mean A LOT. Oh, in one of the soompier's blog, there was one that caught my attention the most. She took the words right out of my mouth. Hmm, so just the other day I was at target looking for Everybody Loves Raymond DVDs to bring on the car ride to vegas. That's probably the only thing I'm looking forward to this summer; just getting away from here. I really wanted to bike at beach but I don't see that happening anymore. And wanting to go karaoke and just hanging out, everyone is booked up.
So there's this WG's street team. They are touring with the Jobro and they'll be at Staple Center for three days. To be a part of their team Fan*tastic, I have to send in a 30 second video why I love them and all that. Mine was crappy. If they choose me, I get to help pass out flyers after the concerts. I also get to meet WG, get pictures, free CDs with their autograph and all that. I'm crossing my fingers, hoping I'd get picked.

So right now, I'm watching Night at the Museum (the first one) on DVD and I'm about to eat springrolls. I was going to write the next chapter of my fic but decided to do some blogging. Last year I DDRed all day hoping to lose weight. Nothing changed. Ugh. This year, I'm sitting around watching movies/shows on DVD player, dance, and DDR at the mall.

Ugh. bad start of summer
Okay, so I looked forward to biking at the beach since like... March! And I can't go unless there is an adult there. What I'm really upset about is that I am not trusted to be on my own. I understand that my dad is protective and he wants me to be okay. But I can't be watched over for the rest of my life! When he asked me who is going, I knew what his reply was for any answer I was going to give him. If I told him friends from school, he's going to ask for names. If I mention a few names he doesnt know, he'd be like "Why dont I know them?" Why? Because you dont go to school with me and you dont know who I know! But he should know that I dont make friends with gangster, stupid, drug people. He should know because he's met a few of my friends. If I mention one guy name or anything, he would make a big deal out of it. Look. I want him to understand that I go to school with BOTH guys AND girls! Does he expect me to just TALK to girls and ONLY make friends with girls? That is ridiculous!
I was looking forward to a great summer. After all my studying, going crazy for classes trying to keep my grades up FOR my parents, I wanted to relax and have a good summer. But I can already predict that's not going to happen. Maybe two more years when I'm in college.

;__;
:( I miss my teachers already. So today was the final for period 3 and 4 which is APUSH and Math analysis. For US History we didn't have to do a final. We just finished our hall of fame presentation and had a party. FOr math we finished up our final (3rd day) and had a party. So in all, I had parties in both classes. For Garcia's (USH) I had hawaiian punch, an eggroll, this mexican nacho+chicken thing (good, but spicy), a brownie, and something else. I was pretty much full. "Ugh, next class... another party." I groaned. In the next class, Bernadette brought a whole bag of cookies so I had about four or five. I am a cookie monster.
There were some tears going on. So last night I stayed up to make Garcia a scrapbook of our class. Originally I asked everyone to chip in so we can get him a gift but everyone "forgot" so I just made a scrapbook. I made a "bootleg" scrapbook. The pictures I printed our were on white paper and the quality of the pictures weren't perfect, but good enough. While we ate and watch a movie, he paused the movie to give us a speech. I dont rmemeber the exact words but it was something like... out of the 20 years hes taught here, we're one of the best classes. We've touched his heart and hopefully hes touched ours. His wife and kids are always asking why he does so much for us (treating us and so much more) and he says it's because we made him feel like he's doing his job. He doesnt treat his other class this way because they dont respect him. He doesnt feel like he's doing his job when he's with the other classes. But with us, we give him respect. He started to tear up and the speech went on. A few of us also teared up but it ended in laughter with Kennedy saying something like, "I'll be your service student!" If you know Kennedy, you know that will make anyone laugh.
I had my camera out before to show Lisa some pictures. But I turned it off when he said he wanted to tell the class something. RIGHT after the speech, Lisa asked if I recorded it. I didnt get to~!!! I didnt even think of it!! So at the end, we took pictures and ate more. So today is the last day I am a student in both those classes. Tomorrow will be Spanish and English and Friday will be Physics and Art. *Sigh*
Thank you, teachers. For teaching us, for being great. We might have suffered in the class, but we got something out of it (hopefully). T H A N K Y O U
I have some pictures uploaded but I wont be putting them up yet.

Rocket
Soooo, for physics we had to work on our rocket project. We started two weeks before the end of school. Our group was Lucy, Daniel, Christy, and me. At first I wanted to be with my other friends (refer to previous blog) but yeah. Then we (Lucy and me) thought, hey... we can do this ourselves. We might not be as quick (quick thinkers) as the others but we'll get this done ourselves and be proud that we got through it. We ended up falling behind... very. Daniel did calculations, I did drawings, Lucy did the rocket itself, and Christy helped here and there (and thank you so much for providing the posters and other supplies). So Friday came and we were about two days behind. We planned to meet up at Christy's house at Saturday but there were change of plans. So we were going to go for Sunday. The thing is... we werent able to contact Christy or Daniel. Lucy and I started to panic and say "we're failing...." but then I see Christy online and we talked. She said she'll ask her friend to come over and help her since he lived really close. I wanted to work on the poster but she had the poster (wth the poster is $10!) so we decided in the morning she'll come to our first period and give me the poster and we'll paste it on. Fortunately, the poster presentation isnt due until tomorrow so I brought it home to work on it. Now, while we were on the football field (where we'll launch the rocket), Lucy, Daniel, and I waited for Christy to come. Lucy and I stood there panicking hoping she's here. When she came, she took the rocket out of her bag and one of the fins was broken in half (the other half was still glued on the rocket). "OMG!!!" I said. Christy quickly took out her glue and we tried to glue it back together. The whole time we thought, "Man... last minute rocket with a glued fin... it's not going to fly." Because the teacher wants the rocket to fly as high as it can and come back down to the exact target (where we started).
So this is what happened. During launch, only two people could be at the target. One person from Sork's class and one from Cox's class. And for each class, only one person per group goes up to launch. SO when Lucy (the launcher) went up to the target to launch, Christy and I stood (really far back) and prayed, literally. I crossed my fingers and was hoping it would at least go up a little and not embarass us. Once Lucy set it off, the rocket shot up into the air and came back down really close to the target. We were so happy. Christy and I screamed and jumped and I had tears in my eyes.
I named the rocket "Whoosh" but after what happeend today, I changed the rocket's name to "Miracle" haha. So... I have a lto of stuff to do for finals and a lot of project. I just came onto blogger to blog about this. ^_^ yay~
