Breathless

I went to sleep at 4 AM this morning. I don't even go sleep THAT late when it's school day (especially if I have a lot to do). It's actually my first time.

I was reading a manga and OMG, the guy was so amazing, hot, his personality will make you melt. I literally had to lean back in my seat away from the computer and breathe. My stomach went numb from holding in all the squeals. It's amazing. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

This is a pointless blog... but whatever :)

Renegade Fair

So the Renegade Fair took place at the cornfield. I knew about this from my cousin who was going to be there as a vendor. I wanted to find a way to help out, contribute, or advertise. Unfortunately, I didn't do much. On the first day, I waited for Jenn to park at my house and walk down together. I said hi to my cousin, walked around, got slushie, and Jenn wanted to go get her car at my house. I really didn't want to walk back up those death hill because I was going to go back to my cousin's booth anyway. But sigh... she didn't want to go alone so I walked up those two horrible hills with her. After that, she drove me back down. Around 7PM we started cleaning up and I needed a ride home. I was going to walk to the restaurant my parents were eating at but my cousin and her friend offered to drive me. By the time we got to my cousin's friend's car, my parents were done eating so he (cousin's friend) just dropped me off at home.

The next day, I thought I should help out... at least. So I get dropped off and I hang around the booth. I was very quiet because my cousin's three guys friend and her were joking and laughing and I don't know them very well. For those who actually know me... that doesn't even sound like me, huh? Haha. Two guys left so it was me, my cousin, and her friend. I was thirsty and wanted something cold. Her friend, Andy, kept singing Wedding Dress the whole time, which was funny. He kept saying how he wanted Honey Green Tea. In my mind, I really wanted Strawberry slush. Lollicup was really far but the drink made it worth the trip. So I bought two honey green tea for my cousin and her friend and got myself a strawberry slush. When I got back, I walked around to the book journal booth. It's so unique! They take old books and turn them into journals. I really wanted one. I didn't ask the guy how much it was yet. I was still looking around to see if there were some I like. The Dr. Seuss one was gone :( so I had to find something else. While I was looking, the guy was like "Hello friend," and I thought 'ugh.. what if he's going to ask me to fill out a survey or something like that.' It turns out he really needed to go to the restroom and asked if I can watch the booth for him, which I did. When he got back, he said if I found a book journal I like, I can just have it ^^ keke. And it turns out the journal is $13! I walked back to my cousin;s booth. When her friend left, it was just me and her, which meant I really have to help out. I'm not really good with customers and I work math very slow in my head. Luckily it was an hour or two before we pack up so there were only a few customers. If the prices were even, that makes it easier for me. Most people bought t-shirts which were $20 so I didn't need to work prices in my head. But if there was a price with a decimal.... LOL. Yong, Rey, Olga, and Roland stopped by and we chatted for a while. My cousin gave me a tote bag (of my favorite design from her) <33 for helping out, I guess? I really wish I did more :( but it really was a nice experience to work with the customers and also see how she does everything.

I'm in the car ride home. hm.. it wasnt the best family trip, i would say. It was extremely hotttt. there was a point where I walked outside alone in the onehundred and sixteen degree weather. i was actually looking for someone. the ground was so hot i couldnt walk. i could feel the heat going thru my shoes. i had to walk in the shade and stop indoors whenever i could.

so i was watching this one circus act and the guy was amazing. he had a super hot body. i would call him a flying angel. he was only wearing this white shiny pants and he was flying in the air holding only white sheets. if only he was a little younger, though. but omg... o.o the act was so cool

im using my bros phone so the battery is going to run out. peace.

I miss...

I miss those times I use to pop up on you and vent about everything. I miss those times I use to squeal and act all girlie with you, talking about certain people I see and run into . I feel like we've drifted apart. We've talked about this before... but the person we drifted away from was another friend. It wasn't us. I miss you telling me everything. I know the reason you may not tell me is because you don't trust me or you're afraid I might have something to say about it. Of course I do, but I'll lock it deep inside if I have to. I just want to talk to you like we used to. I just want to laugh at our random conversations again. Even when we talk... you're busy doing something and I know you can't help it. I miss you giving me advice. I miss you making me laugh. I miss texting you.

Orientation.

Monday-- A stuffy nose prevented me from going back to sleep at 5AM so I stayed awake. Apparently, my mom also couldn't go back to sleep so she watched TV. We were suppose to leave around 7-7:30 to orientation at UCR. I was hungry but I couldn't eat. I don't know why. I wasn't nervous or anything. So I threw my bag and my duffle bag (which I ran out to get last minute) into the car and we headed to aunt's shop so my dad could grab a cup of coffee. Then we were on our way to UCR. When I arrived, my parents told me to get the food they offered because I hadn't had anything to eat yet. I took a mini blueberry croissant which I gave to my dad after I couldn't finish the other half. My mom and dad stood and waited while I checked in. They gave me my folder and room key. I turned around the dorm area were about 10-20 orientation leaders (all UCR students- second years mostly) holding their big name sign and marching around and shouting cheers. I looked for my leader and there he was, Cameron! I was the first one there then another girl arrived. Cameron told us to put our stuff in the dorm. I had so much trouble unlocking the door. When I got in, I put my stuff down and waited for my roommate. Later, someone was trying to open the door so I opened it for them. The girl came in and we introduced ourselves. I told her, "I'll see you soon" as I walked out the room. Then another girl entered the same room and I stopped in my tracks, thinking, "there's three of us?" So I waited to see what happened. Apparently, the first girl that came in, the one I opened the door for, got the wrong room. This was my fault. So when I heard she got the wrong room and she walked out, I walked back in the room and introduced myself to my actual roommate--who said she wasn't going to stay. So yes... I had the room all to myself! I walked back out and we met everyone else in our group. Cameron taught us a few UCR cheers:

"DO YOU HAVE ENERGY?!"
"RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!"

"SHOW ME ENTHUSIASM!"
"AHHHHHHHHH!!"

"Whose side?!"
"R side!"

and a lottttttttttttt more.

So we had "cheer" or "spirit" battles with other groups. The winner gets the spirit stick. If a group wants the stick, they must challenge the group. We were the third group or so to get the stick. We played ice breakers, common ground, dances, and all sorts of stuff. We walked to lothian dining hall (which felt like a mile away beacuse we had to walk down a hill, cross the street, and walk up another hill). We had union rings that were the bomb, sandwich, ice cream, and some other stuff. For dinner we had "all you can eat" so me and S got sushi (twice). We played common ground where we all (about 200 of us) stood in a circle and they read out things that might apply to us. If it does, we step into the circle. There were so many personal questions and I didn';t expect people to step in on some. And what I definitely didn't expect were a lot of Asians. First the African Americans stepped in, then Latino, then Asians. I think there were more Asians than all the other ones. It was crazy. Then we had "camp" where we had dances, games, and some other stuff. It ended around 10 PM. That's when we were able to chose to go to the dance the hosted (loud music, etc.) or go back to our dorm and chill. I went back to finish my survey, ate some cookies, walked around, and went to bed. The bed was so high I had to actually climb up leg first like a little kid.

I woke up the next morning a few times. My dad called to make sure I woke up on time. I got dressed and met up with the group. We walked to lothian for breakfast (french toast, hash brown, sausage, and some other stuff). Then we walked miles to lecture hall again and got our registration lecture, which I almost fell asleep. We had presentatoins and what not. Registered for class, took ID pictures, hung out, etc. I really like the school. I think other than my elementary school, I might show some school spirit.

WHOSE SIDE?!
R SIDE!
